A "Characterisitic" Christmas

In our household, the typical Christmas decor involves images both traditional (Biblical) and contemporary, particularly where favorite childhood characters are concerned. We like to think of it as our "Characteristic" Christmas. Our tree can generally be found covered in collectible ornaments; most representative of characters from familiar holiday television specials: A Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, A Year Without a Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman, etc., etc. Several other favorite characters also make appearances: Harry Potter, Scooby-Doo, Bloom County, Looney Tunes, just to name a few. Unfortunately, this year we simply didn't have time to put out many of our figural colletibles, so the majority of this year's household display focused on our mainstay: Snoopy & the Peanuts characters. I'm afraid that most of the Christmas tree photos don't do the ornaments justice either, but you can get the general idea.
